Solution & IT Product Manager

Huawei Uganda looking to hire Solution & IT Product Manager

Candidate will be responsible for aligning technical solutions with market needs, enabling sales growth, and driving customer engagement through tailored go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities:

Drive solution sales and marketing for Carrier IT offerings including Cloud, AI, Storage, Big Data, Data Warehouse, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions. Collaborate with Sales/Account teams to define value propositions and deliver compelling customer-facing messaging. Create and manage sales tools such as presentations, proposals, and competitive battle cards. Lead customer workshops, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements to support business development. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform solution packaging and positioning. Work cross-functionally with R&D, delivery, and Frontline teams to align product capabilities with customer demands. Support proposal development, RFP responses, and participation in trade shows and industry events.

Requirement:

Bachelor degrees 3+ years of experience in the field Strong background in enterprise/telco IT with exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, GCP). Experience with IT infrastructure, virtualization, and data centre technologies. Working knowledge of AI/ML, especially in telecom or enterprise use cases. Familiarity with Storage, DR, Big Data platforms and Data Warehouse tools. Understanding of delivery models, product strategy, and go-to-market execution. Ability to translate complex IT solutions into business value for telecom operators
