WE ARE HIRING – TEKLA 3D MODELLER / STEEL DETAILER
Company: Awin Engineering Pte Ltd Location: Tuas, Singapore
We are looking for an experienced Tekla 3D Modeller / Structural Steel Detailer to join our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop structural-steel 3D models using Tekla Structures.
- Prepare fabrication, assembly, single-part and erection drawings.
- Generate material take-offs, bolt lists and NC/DSTV files.
- Model steel structures, platforms, staircases, handrails and miscellaneous steelwork.
- Check dimensions, connections, clashes and constructability.
- Coordinate with engineers, BIM coordinators, workshop and site teams.
- Revise models and drawings based on consultant/client comments.
- Maintain drawing registers and proper revision control.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Tekla steel-detailing experience preferred.
- Basic BIM knowledge is required.
- Basic understanding of BIM coordination, clash detection and model submission procedures.
- Knowledge of structural-steel fabrication and erection practices.
- Able to interpret structural, architectural and connection-design drawings.
- AutoCAD knowledge is required.
- Familiarity with Singapore steelwork projects and standards will be an advantage.
- Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Candidates currently available in Singapore are preferred.
