🎨 Hobbyists & Artists: Get Paid to Talk About What You Do Love creating art, making things, playing music, or exploring the outdoors? Show us your skills and talk us through them step by step. We are recruiting artists, musicians, makers, crafters, outdoor enthusiasts, and hobbyists for a flexible paid video recording project. Using our app and a phone head mount, you will record first-person (POV) videos while performing your favorite hobbies and creative activities and talk through what you are doing step by step.

🎙️ Show Us What You Do — and Talk Us Through It Imagine you are teaching someone who cannot see what you are doing. As you work on your hobby or creative project, narrate the entire process. Tell us:

• What you are creating, building, practicing, or working on
• What tools, instruments, materials, or supplies you are using
• What you are doing at each step
• What you see, hear, feel, or notice
• What techniques you are using and why
• How you choose your materials, colors, tools, or approach
• What you are measuring, adjusting, shaping, or assembling
• What you are looking for to know if something is working correctly
• What decisions you are making along the way
• What challenges you encounter and how you solve them
• What you would change or improve
• What you are going to do next

For example, while painting “I am starting with a light blue base color for the sky. I am mixing a little white paint into the blue to create a softer shade. Now I am using a wider brush to apply the paint in long horizontal strokes. I notice the color is a little darker than I wanted, so I am adding more white…” For example, while building a model: “I am assembling the front section of this model airplane. I am looking at the instructions to identify the next piece. This small plastic part has two tabs that need to fit into the slots. I am lining them up carefully before pressing them together…” You do not need to sound scripted or formal. Just talk naturally and continuously as you work.

• Mixing colors and experimenting with techniques

🏺 Pottery & Ceramics

• Hand-building pottery
• Shaping and molding clay
• Wheel throwing
• Sculpting clay figures or objects
• Trimming and refining pottery
• Glazing and decorating ceramics
• Painting ceramic pieces
• Preparing and cleaning pottery tools

🎸 Music & Instruments

• Playing guitar, piano, drums, violin, or other instruments
• Practicing scales, chords, and techniques
• Learning or practicing musical pieces
• Tuning instruments
• Changing guitar strings
• Setting up musical equipment
• Maintaining and cleaning instruments
• Demonstrating finger placement, rhythm, and technique

• Building model airplanes, cars, ships, or trains

• Cutting, sanding, gluing, and assembling components

• Troubleshooting assembly problems

🏕️ Outdoor Survival & Camping

• Setting up and taking down tents
• Organizing camping equipment
• Packing a hiking or camping backpack
• Tying knots and securing ropes
• Setting up a campsite
• Preparing camping meals
• Using camping tools and equipment
• Setting up shelters and tarps
• Maintaining outdoor gear
• Practicing safe outdoor survival skills

✒️ Calligraphy & Creative Lettering

• Practicing brush lettering
• Traditional calligraphy
• Preparing pens, brushes, and ink
• Creating decorative lettering
• Practicing different lettering styles
• Designing handwritten cards or artwork
• Adjusting strokes, spacing, and letter shapes

Other Hobbies & Creative Activities We also welcome other hands-on hobbies and creative projects. Tell us what you enjoy doing and what you can demonstrate while narrating. The goal is not simply to show us your finished creation. We want you to talk us through the entire process, including your techniques, decisions, adjustments, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Experience with one or more hobbies, artistic skills, or creative activities
• Comfortable talking continuously while performing activities
• Smartphone
• Phone head mount
• Approximately 10 hours available for the assignment

What we offer

Do not record other people without their permission, private information, copyrighted music playing in the background, or confidential workplace information. Application does not guarantee selection. Compensation is based on approved qualifying videos and hours that meet assignment requirements.
