Construction general foreman

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the worksite.
• Monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and work schedules.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for construction activities.
• Monitor the quality and progress of construction works and report issues to the Project Manager/Site Manager.
• Ensure construction activities comply with workplace safety requirements and company procedures.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and other site personnel to resolve site issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices.
• Maintain daily records of work progress, manpower and site activities.
• Perform other construction supervision duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Relevant qualification or technical certification in construction, building or a related field.
• Relevant experience in construction site supervision or as a general foreman.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination and worksite safety.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to supervise workers and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
• Willingness to work at construction sites and according to project requirements.
• Relevant Singapore construction experience will be an advantage.
