Associate / Assistant Manager, Industry Development & Community Engagement (Space and UAS)

The Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore) or AAIS, is a no-for-profit corporate membership organisation representing the aerospace and related companies. We serve as the voice of industry to influence future directions and policies, facilitate business and engender the development of the industry community.
Job Summary
The incumbent will support AAIS's aerospace industry development and serve as the focal point for engagement with the Space and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) communities, collaborating with stakeholders to drive initiatives and strengthen industry participation.
Key Responsibilities
Industry Development
- Support the development and implementation of programmes and initiatives that enhance the competitiveness and growth of Singapore's aerospace sector.
- Engage industry stakeholders, government agencies, institutes of higher learning and research organisations to facilitate collaboration and partnership opportunities.
- Gather industry insights and feedback to identify key challenges, opportunities and emerging trends.
- Support the administration and execution of industry development projects, capability-building programmes, workforce initiatives and other strategic activities.
- Plan and coordinate industry dialogues, workshops, seminars, networking sessions, business missions and stakeholder meetings in support of industry development objectives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, briefing papers and meeting materials to support stakeholder engagement and project implementation.
Membership Engagement (Space & UAS Communities)
- Drive engagement and participation within AAIS's Space and UAS communities.
- Build and maintain relationships with member companies, startups, research organisations and ecosystem partners.
- Develop and implement activities, events and initiatives that enhance member value and strengthen community engagement.
- Promote AAIS programmes, services and opportunities to existing and prospective members.
- Support membership recruitment, retention and growth within the Space and UAS sectors.
- Serve as a key point of contact for members and stakeholders within the respective communities and provide secretariat support for relevant committees and working groups.
Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in the aerospace, space and unmanned aviation sectors.
- Good stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The salary and appointment level will be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience and demonstrated capabilities. Fresh graduates with strong potential are welcome to apply.
