ESG Transitieplan en ESG specialist
Role purpose: Drive the development and execution of ESG transition plans and strengthen ESG risk management to support regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and sustainable business strategy.
Core responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and implement ESG transition plans aligned with business strategy and decarbonization targets.
- Identify, assess, and monitor ESG risks across operations, supply chain, and portfolio; translate findings into actionable controls.
- Support ESG reporting and disclosures (e.g., CSRD/ESRS, SFDR, TCFD/ISSB where applicable) with clear documentation and audit-ready evidence.
- Perform materiality and scenario analyses, including climate transition and physical risk assessments.
- Define ESG risk appetite, policies, and procedures; integrate ESG into enterprise risk management and governance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Risk, Finance, Compliance, Sustainability, Legal, Procurement) to embed ESG requirements into processes.
- Track KPIs, milestones, and remediation actions; provide management reporting and recommendations.
Required skills and experience
- Proven experience in ESG strategy, transition planning, sustainability reporting, and/or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of ESG regulations and frameworks; ability to interpret requirements and operationalize them.
- Analytical capabilities (risk assessment, data analysis, scenario modeling) and strong documentation skills.
