The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced AI Discovery Lead with a strong consulting background to support an exciting AI transformation programme with a leading financial services client in Bangkok.

This is a highly client-facing role where you will sit directly in front of senior client stakeholders, lead the AI discovery phase , identify and shape high-value use cases, support pilots and help take successful AI initiatives to scale.

The ideal candidate will come from a Big 4 or leading management/technology consulting environment , ideally at Director or Senior Director level, with strong experience working with insurance or broader financial services clients.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with a major client on an exciting AI programme , with access to proven AI capabilities and programmes already developed across the region.

The wider team has successfully built and delivered multiple AI programmes across the region , providing the successful candidate with access to established expertise, use cases and delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate AI discovery engagements with senior client stakeholders.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business challenges, priorities and opportunities for AI adoption.
• Conduct structured discovery workshops and translate business challenges into practical AI opportunities and use cases.
• Assess and prioritise AI use cases based on business value, feasibility and scalability.
• Help clients move from discovery to pilot and from pilot to scale .
• Support the design and execution of AI pilots, working closely with internal AI and technology teams.
• Present findings, recommendations and proposed AI initiatives to C-suite and CEO-level stakeholders .
• Develop compelling business cases, proposals and roadmaps for AI adoption.
• Support and pitch into RFPs, RFIs, proposals and client pitches , helping shape the solution, value proposition and overall response.
• Work alongside commercial and delivery teams to identify opportunities and develop proposals for follow-on work.
• Facilitate stakeholder conversations across business, technology and transformation teams.
• Bring a strong understanding of consulting methodologies, executive engagement and structured problem-solving.
• Work collaboratively with specialist AI teams and leverage proven AI programmes and capabilities developed across the region.
• Help identify opportunities to expand successful AI initiatives across the client organisation.

Required Experience

• Senior consulting experience at Director / Senior Director level , ideally from a Big 4, strategy, management or technology consulting firm.
• Strong experience working directly with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders .
• Proven experience leading client discovery, transformation or consulting engagements .
• Strong understanding of AI, GenAI and AI transformation , with the ability to translate AI capabilities into tangible business outcomes.
• Experience taking AI initiatives through discovery, pilot and scaling phases .
• Experience contributing to or leading RFPs, proposals, pitches and business development activities .
• Strong Insurance experience is required , with broader Financial Services experience highly preferred .
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate confidently in front of clients and independently lead discovery engagements.
• Strong commercial and consulting mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and shape follow-on work.

• Experience leading AI / GenAI consulting engagements within Insurance or Financial Services .
• Experience presenting AI strategies, recommendations or transformation roadmaps to CEOs and executive committees.
• Strong track record of contributing to RFP responses, client pitches and winning new consulting engagements .
• Experience building and scaling AI programmes across large organisations.
• Strong understanding of how AI can be applied across business functions and enterprise processes.
• Experience working across multiple stakeholders and navigating complex enterprise environments.
• A track record of moving from consulting/discovery into delivery and scaled implementation .
