Mechanical Design Engineer

Arabian Monayri Group is hiring a Mechanical Design & R&D Engineer to join our Engineering & R&D team. You’ll design, develop, test, and continuously improve mechanical products — working hands-on with SolidWorks and sheet metal design to bring new products from concept to production.

Job Description

• Design and develop mechanical components and products using SolidWorks
• Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Support new product development from concept through prototype and production
• Apply sheet metal design principles and Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve technical and manufacturing issues
• Support prototyping, testing, and product validation activities
• Identify opportunities for design improvement, cost reduction, and manufacturability enhancement
• Assist in troubleshooting and implementing engineering changes
• Ensure designs meet technical specifications and project requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement and R&D projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1–2 years of experience in Mechanical Design, Product Development, or R&D
• Good knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Hands-on experience with Sheet Metal Design (required)
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings
• Basic understanding of GD&T is a plus
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good level of English
