Field Sales Agent

About The Role We are looking for driven, people-oriented Field Sales Agents to help onboard merchants onto the Alteras POS ecosystem. You will be the face of Alteras on the ground, visiting businesses, demonstrating the value of our POS terminals, and closing deals that help merchants accept payments with ease. What You Will Do

Identify and visit potential merchants (retail stores, restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, and more) in your assigned territory. Pitch Alteras POS terminals and walk merchants through how the product works. Assist merchants in completing the POS request form and gathering required documents. Build and maintain strong relationships with onboarded merchants. Meet weekly and monthly deployment targets. Report field insights to help improve the product and sales strategy.

Requirements

Minimum of SSCE / OND. A degree is a plus but not required. Previous experience in field sales, merchant acquisition, or agent banking is a strong advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with POS terminals and digital payments. Ability to work independently and meet targets with minimal supervision. Must own a smartphone and be comfortable using digital tools. Must reside in or be willing to work within the assigned city/region.
