Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Design and develop power equipment and systems. Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Service equipment. Test power equipment and systems . Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments. Conduct safety training programs.
