Children’s and Teens’ Programme Coordinator

POSITIONDESCRIPTION:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Studies (DS) and in close collaboration with the Academic Coordinator (AC), the Children’s and Teens’ Programme Coordinator is responsible for planning, organising, overseeing and developing all activitiesrelated to the registration and administration of toddler, children’s, and teens’ courses at the Language Centre.

The Children’s and Teens’ Programme Coordinator supervises the registration team dedicated to toddler, children’s, and teens’ classes, organises workflows, ensures the smooth coordination of daily activities, and provides guidance and support to administrative and teaching staff of the Language Centre.

The Children’s and Teens’ Programme Coordinator initiates, leads, and supports educational and pedagogical projects, and contributes to teacher training and professional development activities. If needed, the Programme Coordinator shall provide a minimum number of teaching hours per week, on Saturdays and in case of last-minute replacements.

The position requires a strong commitment to the Alliance Française’s innovation and development initiatives, as well as a high degree of adaptability, versatility and teamwork to respond to the different stakeholders (clients, students, teachers, administrative team and decision makers).

With a mixed team of Singaporeans and French, and more than 4,000members of all ages, the Alliance Française de Singapore fulfils its mission of teaching the French language and promoting French and Francophone cultures by offering various actions in its Language Center, gallery, theatre and library.
