small engine mechanic

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic! You will diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, generators, and other power equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about delivering quality service. You must have good experience working with 2-stroke equipment. Stihl and Echo / Shindaiwa specifically.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair small engines.
• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups.
• Test equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean workspace.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as a small engine mechanic.
• Knowledge of two-stroke and four-stroke engines.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver?s license preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
