Draughtsman
Responsibilities:
- Drawing Creation & Drafting
2D Drafting & 3D Modeling: Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and 3D BIM models using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
Detailing & Dimensioning: Apply precise dimensions, material specifications, notes, callouts, and tolerances based on design codes and project requirements.
Revisions & Updates: Update existing drawings based on design revisions, client feedback, site variation orders, or redline markups from engineers.
- Standardized Documentation & Shop Drawings
Shop Drawings: Produce detailed shop drawings for construction or manufacturing (e.g., rebar schedules, steel connection details, piping layouts, electrical circuits).
As-Built Drawings: Draft final "as-built" drawings reflecting actual on-site installations after construction or manufacturing completion.
Standardization: Ensure all drawings conform to company standards, layering conventions, sheet titles, drawing scales, and plotting standards.
- Technical Coordination & Quantity Support
Clash Detection Support: Assist in coordinating drawings across disciplines (civil, architectural, MEP) to identify spatial overlaps or design conflicts.
Bill of Quantities (BOQ): Extract basic structural quantities, material take-offs, or schedule lists directly from CAD or BIM software.
Data Management: Organize, catalog, and archive standard CAD libraries, block families, and project drawing files.
Requirements : Diploma in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Architectural/Civil Drafting, or Mechanical Technology.
Not less than 3 years of experience.
