Overview: The Pharmacist will provide professional pharmacist services to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) mission, ensuring timely and appropriate patient care. This role requires direct collaboration with healthcare teams and adherence to Joint Commission (JTC) standards while respecting cultural sensitivities of the Navajo community.

Contract Duration: 1-Year (Full-Time) Location: Crownpoint Health Care Facility (CHCF), Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS)

What sets candidates apart:

• Prior experience practicing pharmacy in an Indian Health Service, tribal, or federally qualified health center setting
• Experience in a high-volume hospital or critical access hospital pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with the Navajo Nation, Southwest rural health care delivery, or underserved community health contexts
• Board certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) in any relevant specialty (e.g., BCPS, BCACP, BCPPS)
• Experience supporting collaborative drug therapy management or primary care pharmacy protocols
