Junior Technical Support & Full-Stack Developer Intern

Mowasl is looking for a motivated Junior Full-Stack Developer to support the development and day-to-day technical operation of our SaaS platform. The role is suitable for a fresh graduate or junior developer who has a good technical foundation, enjoys troubleshooting, and is comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to understand code, investigate issues, and implement solutions. A key part of the role is providing reliable technical coverage during our main business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and responding promptly when technical issues are reported. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and debug technical issues reported by users or customers. Investigate frontend, backend, API, and database-related problems. Review logs and identify the root cause of application errors. Implement, test, and deploy small bug fixes and enhancements. Work with Node.js, REST APIs, PostgreSQL/SQL, and web technologies. Use AI coding assistants effectively for debugging, code understanding, and development. Work with Git/GitHub for source control and code management. Provide timely responses to production issues during agreed working hours. Escalate complex or high-risk issues when necessary. Document reported issues, findings, and implemented solutions. Support basic deployment, monitoring, and application maintenance activities. Assist with new features and product improvements when there are no active support issues.

Fresh graduate or junior developer in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Basic to good knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js.

Understanding of REST APIs and backend development concepts.

Basic knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with Git/GitHub.

Good debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.

Ability to understand and work with an existing codebase.

Able to investigate technical issues

Reliable availability from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during agreed working days.

Good communication skills and ability to provide clear updates on reported issues.

Basic knowledge of Docker, Linux, AWS, or cloud deployment is a plus.

Personal, graduation, freelance, or GitHub projects are a plus.
