Job Summary

The Supply Chain Executive will support the day-to-day purchasing, inventory and supplycoordination activities of the company.

The role involves coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timelypurchasing, sufficient stock availability and smooth supply operations. Thesuccessful candidate will work closely with the Procurement & DemandPlanning team and support procurement and supply planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Purchasing & Supplier Coordination
  • Assist with day-to-day purchasing activities based on business and inventory requirements.
  • Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers.
  • Liaise with suppliers on pricing, product availability, order status and delivery schedules.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Assist in resolving purchasing and delivery-related issues.
  1. Inventory & Stock Management
  • Monitor inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Check stock availability and identify potential shortages or excess inventory.
  • Track incoming shipments and expected delivery dates.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update relevant systems.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on stock requirements.
  • Follow up on inventory discrepancies and stock-related issues.
  1. Supply & Demand Coordination
  • Support the team in monitoring sales, inventory and supply information.
  • Assist in coordinating purchasing requirements based on demand, stock levels and supplier lead times.
  • Follow up with relevant departments on updated requirements and forecasts.
  • Monitor product availability and supplier lead times.
  • Highlight potential supply constraints or stock shortages to the supervisor.
  • Support the team in maintaining appropriate stock availability.
  1. Reporting & Administration
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing, inventory and supply-related records.
  • Assist with regular purchasing and inventory reports.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate information in relevant systems.
  • Maintain proper documentation for purchasing and supply activities.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and other ad-hoc supply chain activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory management or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing and inventory management processes.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Able to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to learn and work under the guidance of the Supply Chain team.
  • Experience with ERP, purchasing or inventory management systems will be an advantage.
