English Teacher
We’re Hiring: Part-Time English Teacher (Hybrid Role – Bali) Location: Denpasar, Badung, Gianyar
About Us Active English Bali is a dynamic English language school committed to making learning interactive, personalized, and effective. With small class sizes and engaging teaching methods, we offer a variety of programs, ranging from General and Conversational English to Business English, Hospitality English, ESP, and exam preparation, for both local and international learners.
The Role We’re looking for a passionate, professional, and adaptable English teacher to join our team in a part-time hybrid role. You’ll teach both in-person and online classes across different levels, design engaging lessons, monitor student progress, and create a supportive and motivating learning environment. You’ll also work closely with our friendly team and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
What You’ll Do
- Develop interactive, goal-oriented lesson plans
- Conduct assessments and prepare class reports
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Teach English to learners of different ages and proficiency levels, both in-person and online
- Participate in training sessions and complete administrative tasks, including attendance records, lesson reports, student assessments, and timely communication with the academic team
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent in English (minimum C1 level)
- At least one year of teaching experience
- Comfortable teaching both children and adults
- Bachelor’s degree (English major preferred)
- Based in Bali (Denpasar, Badung, or Gianyar)
- Communicative and empathetic when working with students and colleagues
- A lifelong learner who embraces challenges and approaches them with a solution-oriented mindset
