We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our client's dynamic, global engineering team and play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge, end-to-end automation solutions for process technology.
About the role
In this role, you will take full ownership of an automation software projects from design to commissioning. Working closely with cross-functional designing and project teams, you will be responsible of developing and programming of the automation software, working with configurations and participating of the comissioning.

Developing and programming automation software of industrial process applications
Designing and configuring HMI/SCADA systems for industrial applications
Creating and updating electrical schematics and control system documentation
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automation systems
Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to meet the project deadlines
Participating in occasional international commissioning work
We are looking for
Educational background in a relevant engineering field
Strong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal
Experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA and industrial communication networks
Knowledge of EPLAN for electrical and control-system documentation
Ability to read, understand and create electrical schematics and control cabinet documentation
Experience with testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and system integration
Knowledge of electrical automation and control systems
Working proficiency in English
It is meritorious if you have
Experience with marine automation systems
Proficiency in the Finnish language
