Occupational Therapist | Senior Day Care Centre

Job Description: Evaluate patients’ functional, physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs to identify areas requiring occupational therapy intervention.

Develop and deliver individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on each patient’s goals and clinical needs.

Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ functional abilities, independence, participation, and overall quality of life.

Assess the need for adaptive equipment and assistive devices, and provide appropriate recommendations, training, and education to patients and caregivers.

Maintain timely, accurate, and comprehensive clinical documentation, treatment notes, and patient records.

Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support holistic patient outcomes.

Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and techniques to promote continued progress and independence in daily activities.
