Communications Specialist (1-year contract)

Coordinates and leads both Abbott Internal and External Customer and Affiliates Visits to AMS.

Leads Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for AMS. Represent AMS at theAbbott CSR group and lead the execution of Operations Discovery in AMS

Leads internal communications and drive Employee Engagement initiatives on site which includes the LIFE Committee program.

Responsible to design, curate and execute content update for internal communications to drive employee engagement

Responsible to plan and execute site wide events such as All Employee Meetings, Townhall meetings and any other Abbott corporate programs relevant to the site.

Leads and drives site wide recognition programs to ensure timely and specific recognition is awarded to employees.

Responsible for the production of staff newsletters and videos, including all necessary approvals/permits, coordination of writers and articles, copywriting and layout, printing and distribution.

Responsible to coordinate with Public Affairs, Legal and Abbott’s Branding team to review, edit and approve communication material intended for communication to external parties.

Drafts / sends email circulars to communicate, promote HR/training related schemes/issues.
