- Inspect civil works including excavation, earthworks, foundations, reinforced concrete works, blockwork, and finishing works.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings.
- Monitor contractor’s work for quality, workmanship, and adherence to safety requirements.
- Conduct routine site inspections and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
- Review and verify materials delivered to site against approved material submittals.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when work does not meet required standards.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Check setting out, levels, alignment, and dimensional accuracy of civil works.
- Witness testing of materials and site tests (e.g., concrete slump tests, compaction tests).
- Maintain proper records of inspections, approvals, and site instructions.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements on site
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil inspection within consulting firms
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with Dubai authority regulations and inspection procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Good communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and site safety practices.
