Senior Mobile Developer (Flutter)
Company Overview: Zocks is an AI platform transforming how financial advisors work. Starting in the US financial services market, we're building technology that supports advisors across their entire workflow - from sales and meeting preparation to note-taking, follow-ups, scheduling, email, document intelligence, reporting, and integrations with the systems they use every day.

Zocks is headquartered in San Francisco, while our entire R&D organization - Engineering, Product, Design, Data, and Infrastructure - is based in Budapest. This means our Budapest teams don't just execute on a product built elsewhere: they're directly responsible for shaping the product, technology, and how we build them as we grow. Location: Budapest, XI., Science Park (On-site Monday to Thursday, Remote on Fridays)
Why we're hiring for this role: As our team expands, we’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to help elevate our mobile application offering. You’ll bring technical expertise, fresh perspectives, and a passion for mobile innovation, contributing to a product that redefines productivity and efficiency for businesses.
Key challenges you will work on every day: Architect, develop, and optimize high-performance client applications using Flutter
Own the delivery of customer-facing features with heavy involvement of frontier LLM models
Solve complex technical challenges and translate them into seamless user experiences
Leverage expertise in Flutter and Dart
Contribute to technical decisions that shape the evolution of our mobile architecture
Working in a lean environment with a strong focus on well-structured code, testing, and continuous integration
Working closely with key stakeholders such as Full-Stack Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, driving cross-team collaborations
Taking part in all stages of development: investigate technical feasibility for new features and suggest implementation options and actively participate in development lifecycle until releasing
Requirements: 3+ years experience with Flutter, building customer facing mobile applications
Strong proficiency in Dart, Flutter frameworks
Deep understanding of Flutter's platform channel APIs
Experience working with RESTful APIs, and third-party integrations
Solid understanding of cloud computing, especially AWS
Capability to analyze and improve existing codebases, ensuring efficiency and scalability
Passion for writing well-structured, maintainable code with a focus on quality
Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
Experience with CI/CD tools, automated testing, and deployment strategies
A keen interest in AI-driven solutions and staying ahead of industry trends
Strong English and Hungarian communication skills
It’s not a hard requirement, but it’s a plus: Having hands-on experience with Bloc, GoRouter and GetIt
Experience working with native code (Java/Kotlin, Swift)
Being able to understand Python/FastAPI codebases
