Tareas
The individual will have the following responsibilities
- Copyediting and content editing, as well as translation (English–Spanish), ensuring academic rigor and the correct use of scholarly apparatus (citations, references, etc.).
- Writing/drafting content.
- Organizing, archiving, and tracking project progress.
- Proficiency in editing software, such as InDesign and Photoshop, is highly desirable.
Requisitos
We are seeking editors with over 20 years of experience to support a project involving a memoir about migration and exile.
- Proven experience in bilingual (English/Spanish) academic or literary editing.
- Experience in copyediting academic and literary texts.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks autonomously.
- Expert-level proficiency in editing software.
- Availability to work during morning hours.
- Educación mínima: Educación superior - Licenciatura
- 20 años de experiencia
- Idiomas: Inglés
- Edad: entre 45 y 65 años
- Conocimientos: Corrección de estilo, Corrección de textos, Microsoft office, Redacción correspondencia, Redacción de cartas, Redacción de contenidos
