Role - Desktop & Network Support Engineer

Experience - 1 to 3 Years

Key Responsibilities

Provide L1 technical support for desktop, laptop, printer and network-related issues. Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and common applications . Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals and software. Perform basic Active Directory tasks such as user accounts, password resets and access support. Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP issues. Support network connectivity, cabling and basic switch/router-related issues. Log, track and resolve incidents and service requests through ITSM/ticketing tools . Escalate complex desktop and network issues to L2/L3 teams. Assist with user onboarding, device setup and IT asset management. Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting records and asset information. Provide onsite/remote support and ensure timely resolution of user issues. Follow ITIL processes, security policies and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

1–3 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Support / Network Support . Windows 10/11 troubleshooting. Desktop/laptop hardware and software troubleshooting. Microsoft 365 / Office 365. Active Directory. Basic networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi . Basic knowledge of switches, routers and network troubleshooting. ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or similar. Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Preferred

CompTIA A+/Network+ or CCNA certification. ITIL Foundation knowledge. Experience in an enterprise IT support environment.
