Salary: £37,853 per annum Location: Southampton

Looking for your next buying opportunity? If you're an experienced Buyer with a commercial mindset and a passion for developing product ranges, this could be the perfect role. Talent Guardian is partnering with a well-established consumer goods business to recruit a Buyer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You'll take ownership of established branded product ranges, work closely with suppliers across the UK and Europe, and play a key role in bringing new products to market.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing branded product ranges from selection through to launch.
• Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Analysing market trends, competitor activity and forecasting demand.
• Monitoring product performance, sales and stock levels.
• Building strong supplier relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
• Supporting product launches, sales teams and stakeholder presentations.
• Attending UK and European trade shows and supplier meetings.

What we're looking for:

• Previous Buying or Procurement experience.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Commercial awareness with excellent analytical ability.
• Experience managing product ranges and forecasting.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator who enjoys working with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills would be an advantage.
