Architectural Coordinator
Job Description & Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Singapore construction projects with a Main Contractor.(Experience with project topping-out)
- Strong experience in A&A (Addition & Alteration) projects is highly preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Condominium, Commercial, or other building projects are also welcome.
- Able to coordinate architectural works from construction to completion.
- Experienced in coordinating with Architects, Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, construction details, and site coordination.
- Able to review architectural drawings, identify discrepancies, and resolve technical issues.
- Familiar with shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, mock-ups, inspections, and consultant comments.
- Good understanding of finishing works, including doors, windows, ceilings, tiling, waterproofing, painting, aluminium, glazing, and joinery.
- Able to coordinate architectural works with structural and M&E teams.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of BIM/Revit will be an advantage.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all architectural and finishing works on site.
- Liaise with Architects, Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors on technical matters.
- Review drawings and ensure all architectural works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate shop drawings, material submissions, and consultant approvals.
- Resolve architectural and site coordination issues promptly.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate architectural interfaces with structural and M&E works.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support to the project team.
- Support the Project Management Team in achieving project milestones and timely completion.
