MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize new Process Modules, Perform experiments (DOE) to improve the Device Performance, yield and Manufacturability.
Product Development Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from concept through commercialization and high-volume manufacturing.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Integration, Modules, and other departments to ensure alignment and effectively resolve technical challenges.
Manufacturing Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new processes into high-volume manufacturing, with a focus on scalability, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
Performance and Reporting: Establish clear performance metrics, monitor progress toward objectives, and provide comprehensive reports on organizational outcomes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- More than 3 years of experience in automation design
- Good knowledge and experience in the following areas : 1) Design of automation or semiconductor equipment 2) High precision machine design 3) Design of High Speed Pick and Place mechanisms
- Familiar with 3D CAD software
- Equipment troubleshooting skills
- Ability to produce detailed Mechanical drawings and apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
- Ability to work independently with high level of motivation and communicate with all levels
- Fluent in spoken English
- Able to travel overseas for field support when required
- Must be prepared to work overtime when required
