We deliver professional analog, digital and mixed-signal design services tailored to the customers’ needs with focus on realization of complex System-on-Chips in leading edge technology nodes. Our team of more than 150 employees covers the complete chip design process up to system architecture development. Racyics is working for major German and international semi-custom companies both as a service provider and in collaborative partnerships.

Your tasks

• Lead our IT team of seven at the Dresden site: disciplinary leadership, professional and technical development of the team, mentoring and hiring
• Steer who works on what: plan the team’s capacity against the demand coming from our offices and projects, and negotiate priorities when that demand competes
• Grow the team — define the skills we need, run the hiring and build career paths for IT people in a company whose centre of gravity is chip design
• Work hands-on where it counts: architecture decisions with your team, escalations and the problems that do not get solved at first level
• Represent the team in the line management round and work closely with our CIO and the IT Office, which set the company's technical direction

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 5+ years in IT, including responsibility for people or for work packages
• Good technical ground in Linux/Unix and Windows environments, networking, and virtualization
• Hands-on scripting and automation background (Python, Bash)
• Professional German and English language communication skills
• Open and proactive communication, strong problem solving and teamwork skills
