Video Editor
Job Description:
- Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content for marketing and promotional purposes.
- Perform video cutting, trimming, color correction, color grading, and audio editing.
- Add motion graphics, animated text, transitions, subtitles, and other visual elements to enhance video quality.
- Ensure all video content follows the company's brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and content creators to understand creative briefs, scripts, and storyboards.
- Optimize video formats, aspect ratios, durations, and export settings for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Review and revise video content based on feedback from the team or supervisor.
- Organize and maintain raw footage, project files, and final video assets in a structured digital archive.
- Ensure all video projects are completed according to deadlines and quality standards.
Job Specification:
- Minimum Diploma (D3) in any major; candidates from Visual Communication Design, Film, Broadcasting, Communication, or related fields are preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing or post-production.
- Proficient in at least one video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut Pro.
- Familiar with motion graphics, animated text, transitions, and basic visual effects.
- Understand basic color grading, audio editing, and video post-production workflows.
- Understand video formats, aspect ratios, and content requirements for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to maintain consistent visual quality.
- Strong time management skills and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Willing to work remotely and coordinate with the team online.
- Able to respond to work-related coordination and urgent revisions in accordance with agreed working arrangements.
