The Office of the CFO (OCFO) team partners with middle market stakeholders to provide strategic finance solutions and operational, technical and transaction accounting advisory across the entire business and investment lifecycle. Leveraging backgrounds in accounting, finance, operations, audit, investment banking, investing and consulting, the OCFO team provides holistic perspectives and capabilities to deliver results that are unmatched in the industry.  The Vice President, OCFO Strategic Finance & Analytics role represents a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional to assume a wide range of responsibilities to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This Vice President will combine technical expertise and analytical skills to deliver exceptional results for middle-market clients across diverse industries. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial and experienced finance professional with a proven track record in optimizing financial processes and implementing tools to enable faster and more impactful data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities Manage team execution and quality control to deliver strategic finance and analytics solutions that create measurable value

Implement and enhance scalable processes, methodologies and analytical solutions which result in step-function improvements to middle market OCFO functions

Interface with client stakeholders, escalating key issues to leadership to support private equity sponsors and lenders on key financial initiatives, including the buildout of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), liquidity forecasting and management, scenario planning and transaction preparation processes and tools

Implement driver-based models and tools that enable better decision making and alignment with client objectives and work cross-functionally to produce and automate solutions

Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement technology-driven performance visibility solutions by integrating diverse datasets to generate insight using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, Snowflake, SQL and Python

Support multiple concurrent engagements to support delivery of financial advisory guidance to clients (sponsors, lenders and management teams)

Serve as day-to-day client lead, supporting clients through complex transactional and operational situations, including mergers, acquisitions and carveouts, operating model transformations, selling / buying the business, technology implementations, etc.

Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate client performance, diagnose issues across the finance operating model, identify improvement opportunities and prepare / prioritize actionable recommendations

Support client meetings, helping translate findings into actionable insights, managing stakeholder expectations, and supporting execution of solutions

Mentor junior finance and analytics professionals

Support business development efforts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients

Share and manage best practices as well as lead internal trainings where required

Support talent acquisition and firm-building initiatives

Contribute to a high-performing, inclusive and values-driven culture

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field from a top undergraduate program; advanced degree or CFA, CPA or CA preferred

Experience working with private equity clients or on US / global transactions is preferred

Willing to relocate to or be primarily present in Gurgaon

Six plus years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, IB or management consulting, with a focus on middle-market companies

Expertise in financial modeling, scenario planning and advanced analytics

Strong understanding of private equity environments and value creation strategies

Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on client relationship management

Bias towards and track record of leveraging technology and automation solutions (Power BI / Tableau, Power Automate, UI Path, Automation Anywhere) to drive business process efficiency

Proficiency in financial technologies and tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Oracle PBCS, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentation and reporting skills

Proven ability to thrive in lean, fast-moving teams

High attention to detail, responsiveness and ownership mindset

Track record of success in high-pressure, client-facing environments
