Support Engineer (DevOps / SRE / Production Support)
About the role
We’re looking for a high-performing support engineer to join a forward-thinking development & engineering team. This role blends production support, DevOps, and modern SRE practices, with a strong emphasis on automation, observability, and AI-driven operations.
What you’ll be doing
Own L2/L3 support across applications, APIs, data platforms, and event-driven systems
Lead incident management end-to-end (triage, resolution, root cause analysis)
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep/ARM)
Enhance observability (monitoring, alerting, tracing, dashboards)
Automate workflows, runbooks, and remediation processes
Support data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and platform operations
Collaborate with engineers on production readiness and release reliability
Leverage AI tools for incident triage, diagnostics, and proactive issue detection
What we’re looking for
Core skills
Strong experience in production support / SRE / DevOps environments
Hands-on with Azure services (App Services, AKS, Functions, SQL, etc.)
Expertise in CI/CD and deployment strategies
Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS)
Solid Python & SQL for automation and troubleshooting
Monitoring & observability tools (Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, Datadog, etc.)
Technical exposure
.NET / C#, APIs, microservices, event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Data platforms (Spark, Databricks or similar)
Infrastructure as Code & cloud networking fundamentals
Scheduling / orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M, etc.)
Experience & qualifications
7–10+ years in support engineering / DevOps / SRE
Degree in computer science (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of ITIL processes
Experience supporting enterprise-grade systems
Background in financial services or complex data environments (preferred)
