Senior Surveyor

Key Requirements

• Previously worked in the offshore survey industry for 5 years or more
• Proven track record of performance in a wide range of offshore survey projects
• Previously experience from MBES data processing
• Independent problem-solving skills
• Technically understanding of data quality (Resolution, error budget, accuracy)
• Navigation and positioning / Co-ordinate reference systems

Education Requirements

• Minimum BSc/Masters level in survey related discipline

We are looking for a Senior Surveyor, someone with appropriate operational and technical skills, that has previously worked with technology within the subsea industry e.g. ROV, Side Scan Sonars, Multibeam sonars, USBL /underwater positioning and more.

Main Duties

• Responsible for the acquisition of survey data onboard
• Responsible for the installation, calibration and configuration of the survey equipment
• Ensuring that the quality and HSEQ standards are adhered to at all stages.
• Shift leader (Surveyors and ROV-Pilots)
• Data management
• Liaise with clients, colleagues and field teams

You will work in turns of 4 weeks (4 weeks onshore, 4 weeks offshore). It might also be possible to work 2 weeks turns.
