About the company
Marwood Ltd. a specialty manufacturer of value-added forest products is currently looking for a detail-oriented Colour Technician at our Cape Cod Siding facility in Edmundston, New Brunswick. This full-time role focuses on quality control, color matching, and precise sample preparation in our advanced coatings department.
Your tasks
- Sample Preparation: Paint and ship brushouts to clients.
- Quality Control: Take Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements using a microscope.
- Color Formulation: Create accurate custom color matches based on specifications.
- Inventory Management: Safely dispense paint and coatings for production.
- Specialized Application: Paint nails for customer orders (requires wearing a respirator).
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong visual awareness and exceptional color perception.
- Experience with precision measurement tools or microscopy is an asset.
- Ability to follow strict safety protocols, including wearing a respirator.
- Reliable work ethic with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for coordinating shipments.
