Marketing Content Specialist
Job Summary
Create and manage engaging social media content to elevate brand presence across multiple platforms. Collaborate with teams to deliver consistent, visually appealing content and support marketing campaigns that drive audience engagement and brand growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) including captions, graphic briefs, and short-form video concepts to increase audience interaction
- Plan and execute content calendars across multiple brands/entities to ensure timely and coordinated social media presence
- Coordinate and support photo and video shoots, including planning, on-site management, and basic editing to produce high-quality visual content
- Monitor social media performance and engagement metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable reporting insights to optimize content strategy
- Collaborate with designers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to maintain brand voice and ensure content consistency with brand guidelines
- Research and apply current social media trends to suggest innovative content ideas that enhance audience reach
- Assist in executing ad-hoc marketing projects, events, and campaigns to support overall marketing objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, Design, or related field
- Experience in content creation through internships, freelance work, or personal projects such as managing social accounts, blogs, YouTube channels, or student media projects
- Strong writing skills with good command of English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for broader audience engagement
- Familiarity with social media platforms and current content trends to inform content development
- Basic proficiency in design or editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite), including self-taught or informal experience
- Comfortable using smartphone or camera equipment for capturing content
- Keen eye for visual aesthetics and maintaining brand consistency
