Unreal Artist - Virtual Production

Accountabilities Design, build, and optimize high-quality 3D assets, props, environments, and virtual sets for real-time rendering in Unreal Engine.

Collaborate with internal teams, filmmakers, and creative stakeholders on concept development, sequence blocking, animatics, look development, and interactive experiences.

Provide technical and artistic support during virtual production shoots, ensuring smooth on-set execution.

Optimize environments and assets to achieve high performance while maintaining visual quality.

Communicate project progress effectively and deliver work within fast-paced production schedules.

Partner with programmers during research and development initiatives, testing new features and contributing valuable technical feedback.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a professional game development studio or Virtual Art Department, creating high-quality assets for AAA games, virtual production, or cinematic content.

Expert-level proficiency with Unreal Engine and strong experience using 3ds Max or Maya.

Advanced knowledge of lighting, layout, texturing, rendering, Blueprint creation, and real-time asset optimization.

Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and emerging technologies that enhance virtual production workflows.

Experience with source control tools such as Perforce is a plus.

Exposure to scanning and capture workflows, VFX production, or leadership experience supervising Unreal or VFX artists is advantageous.

Strong artistic portfolio demonstrating Unreal Engine work, excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively in deadline-driven environments.
