Senior Sage Intacct Construction Consultant

Accountabilities: The Senior Sage Intacct Construction Consultant will lead and support implementation projects, provide expert consulting services, and help clients optimize their financial and operational processes. This role requires strong project ownership, technical expertise, and the ability to guide both customers and internal teams toward successful outcomes.

Lead and manage Sage Intacct Construction implementations and module add-ons with minimal supervision.

Provide timely client support by resolving or escalating support requests within established service expectations.

Maintain strong project utilization by effectively managing time, priorities, and client commitments.

Advise clients on new product functionality and provide strategic recommendations for future improvements.

Document project activities, progress, and client interactions clearly to support accurate reporting and billing.

Mentor junior consultants through coaching conversations, knowledge sharing, and project collaboration.

Partner with project managers and consulting teams to maintain accurate project plans and ensure timely delivery.

Identify out-of-scope requirements, support change order processes, and escalate risks when necessary.

Maintain advanced certifications across key Sage Intacct modules, including Construction and SCM.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance consulting processes and customer experiences.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced Sage Intacct professional with strong construction industry knowledge, consulting expertise, and a passion for helping organizations improve through technology. The successful candidate combines technical proficiency, accounting knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple client engagements.

5+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience, including implementation and client support.

Advanced certification in Sage Intacct Construction and SCM modules.

Strong understanding of construction industry operations, terminology, and business processes, including general contracting, subcontracting, specialty trades, residential, or commercial construction.

Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple client projects and priorities.

Strong accounting background, particularly within construction-related environments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.

Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading teams within a consulting environment.

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Ability to learn quickly, share knowledge, and support continuous improvement.

Experience with mid-sized or enterprise consulting organizations is a plus.

Project management certification or equivalent project leadership experience is preferred.

Experience with publisher escalation processes is a plus.
