Accountabilities: The Senior Account Executive will own strategic public sector accounts, driving new business growth, expansion opportunities, and customer relationships throughout the complete sales lifecycle. This role requires strong sales execution, government market expertise, and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Own a portfolio of Federal Civilian, DOJ, and SLED accounts, with responsibility for pipeline generation, revenue growth, and bookings.

Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, including discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiations, and closing activities.

Manage public sector opportunities involving RFPs, RFIs, task orders, renewals, and government procurement processes.

Develop strategic account plans aligned with agency priorities, mission objectives, funding cycles, and purchasing timelines.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including program leaders, technical teams, procurement officers, contracting teams, and executive decision-makers.

Act as a trusted advisor by connecting customer challenges and mission goals with technology capabilities and measurable business value.

Create and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while ensuring accurate forecasting, CRM discipline, and visibility into deal progress and risks.

Ensure compliance with public sector procurement requirements, internal approval processes, and pricing guidelines.

Collaborate with systems integrators, resellers, channel partners, and internal teams to develop effective deal strategies.

Coordinate with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and operational teams to support successful customer engagements.

Influence partner-led and complex sales models while driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.

Deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets while expanding existing accounts and identifying new market opportunities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive enterprise software sales experience, strong public sector knowledge, and the ability to manage strategic, long-cycle opportunities. You should be comfortable engaging executive stakeholders, navigating government procurement processes, and leading collaborative sales efforts.

Proven experience selling enterprise B2B software, data platforms, infrastructure solutions, or related technology offerings to Federal and/or SLED customers.

Demonstrated success closing six- and seven-figure enterprise deals within public sector environments.

Strong understanding of Federal and/or SLED procurement processes, contract vehicles, and government funding cycles.

Experience managing complex consultative sales cycles with multiple technical, business, and executive stakeholders.

Excellent executive communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to develop strategic account plans and translate customer objectives into solution-driven outcomes.

Strong forecasting, pipeline management, CRM discipline, and sales execution capabilities.

Experience selling mission-critical systems, data platforms, or infrastructure software is preferred.

Familiarity with government systems integrators, channel partners, and public sector contracting ecosystems is a plus.

Ability to influence without direct authority and lead cross-functional deal teams effectively.

Self-motivated, strategic, and results-oriented approach with strong ownership of revenue goals.

Base salary range of $140,250 - $165,000, plus commission eligibility through a 50/50 compensation structure.
