Job Posting ? Brand Ambassador / Sales Representative
*About Heritage*
Heritage Cannabis is a Canadian licensed cannabis producer with production facilities in British Columbia and Ontario and a growing portfolio of products on licensed retail shelves. We are looking for a Brand Ambassador to grow our presence in the Vancouver market.
*The Role*
As our Brand Ambassador, you are the face of Heritage Brands (RAD, Adults Only, Skull Crusher, Pure Vida, Purefarma, ChillBilly, Juicy Hoots and Big Steal) , in Vancouver?s cannabis retail stores. You will drive sales growth, profitability and account penetration in your territory by building strong relationships with store owners, buyers and budtenders, opening new accounts, and expanding our shelf presence in the stores that already carry us. If you would rather be out in the field than behind a desk, and you enjoy turning a ?maybe? into a reorder, we would like to hear from you.
*What You?ll Do*
Promote and sell Heritage products to existing and prospective retail accounts using a relationship-based approach, and secure orders.
Prospect and open new accounts: research stores in the territory, assess their potential and value to Heritage, and turn them into customers.
Visit stores in person and connect by phone to present products, educate budtenders, and help buyers choose the products best suited to their customers.
Up-sell and expand distribution of additional Heritage products within existing accounts.
Build and manage customer value plans for key accounts, outlining each store?s profile, share of shelf and growth opportunities.
Plan your route and personal sales strategy to get the best return on your time across the territory.
Resolve customer problems and complaints quickly, coordinating with sales management, marketing, accounting, logistics and customer service.
Keep accurate records, files and correspondence for your accounts in our CRM.
Provide weekly pipeline and forecast reporting, along with field insights on customer needs, competitor activity and opportunities for new products.
Stay current on Heritage products, competitor products, market conditions and promotional trends, and know how we compare.
Represent Heritage at trade shows, budtender events and industry functions.
Ensure all sales and promotional activity complies with the Cannabis Act and BC?s Cannabis Control and Licensing Act, including the rules on promotion and inducements.
Keep learning: build your product knowledge and sharpen your selling skills.
Other duties as assigned.
*What You Bring*
2+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Cannabis industry knowledge strongly preferred; familiarity with BC?s cannabis retail landscape is an asset.
Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM.
A calm, professional presence whether the store is quiet or slammed, with any type of clientele.
Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong time management and the ability to meet firm deadlines.
A driven, self-motivated approach, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid driver?s licence and a reliable vehicle.
Must be 19 years of age or older.
Selling It Right certification is an asset.
