Production Manager

Your tasks

1. Safety and Compliance: Promote and enforce Strict adherence to Occupational Safety, health, and environmental standards within the Production team. Lead by example in creating a safe and compliant workplace.
2. Operational Excellence: Monitor daily production performance, analyzing critical metrics such as production volumes, downtimes, waste, and rates. Take proactive actions to ensure optimal efficiency and consistently meet production goals.
3. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives (CI) to boost operational efficiency and product quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, and waste reduction strategies to improve overall performance.

4.Team Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and mentor a high-performing team of shift leaders and production operators. Conduct competency assessments, gap analysis, and create individual development plans (IPD) to build a strong, skilled workforce. 5 Collaboration Across Departments: Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate production schedules, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high product quality and cost-efficiency. Collaborate with the maintenance department to prevent equipment breakdowns and minimize production disruptions. 6.Quality Assurance: Ensure that finished products meet all required specifications before being shipped to the warehouse. Address customer complaints and claims, and implement corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction. 7Cost Management: Analyse monthly production variable costs, identify areas of waste or inefficiency, and take corrective actions. Optimize the use of raw materials and production processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor - Degree Master.
2. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role. Experience in the Floral industry or within a multinational company is highly desirable.
3. Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop teams in a high-performance culture.
4. Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
5. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP is a plus. Knowledge of ISO standards, lean manufacturing,5S, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices is essential.
6. Problem Solving: improvement
