We are currently working with an independent insolvency firm based in the Central Lancashire who is looking to recruit an experienced full-time Insolvency Manager to head up a Post-appointment team with ideally Four year's experience of working within Corporate Insolvency. This is a full-time opportunity and is ideal for an experienced Manager or Assistant Manager looking to develop and further their career with a desire to gain their JIEB qualification. Our client can offer a permanent full-time office based working contract but for the right person they would consider flexible working from home and the office .

The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the post appointment team, working closely with internal departments, Directors, Creditors and the Insolvency Practitioners in a fast-paced environment handing a high volume of CVL cases . The team deals with the administration and progression of corporate insolvency cases following appointment, including statutory work, investigations, case reviews, employee and pension matters, creditor correspondence and closures. Key requirements Must have practical experience in a corporate insolvency role. Strong working knowledge of the Insolvency Rules, specifically relating to the post appointment process and decision procedures in a CVL. Previous management experience preferable but this could be an ideal role for the right candidate to take the next steps in their insolvency career. The ability to lead and develop a team of administrators and review their work. Excellent verbal communication skills, including negotiation and creating urgency. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise varying deadlines. Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset. Excellent telephony skills with an ability to adapt the communication approach effectively. A “problem solver” attitude, someone who will proactively take on and fix any issue that may arise. Confidence in handling difficult conversations. Key Responsibilities will include. Manage & develop performance of a team of insolvency administrators. Allocate work and ensure cases progresses efficiently statutory deadlines are met and prioritise & organise workloads ensuring all statutory obligations are met. Providing technical support and dealing with escalated or more complex matters. Maintaining high standards of accuracy, investigation and written work. Providing technical advice and assistance to the wider team. Training and developing less experienced staff, including apprentices and developing administrators. Improving systems, processes and ways of working rather than simply maintaining the status quo. Whats on offer Competitive salary: £40,000 to £55,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Support with JIEB if necessary. Annual performance reviews and progression plans. Potential Bonus scheme.
