Role Summary: This role is within the BioProcess Downstream Resins organization and will report directly to the General Manager for BioProcess Resins. You will lead a team of product managers who are responsible for the life cycle management of the chromatography resins products. This is a senior manager position and you will provide direction and decision on business related and strategic matters.

Essential Responsibilities: The business leader is responsible for: Leading a team of direct reporting personnel (~8 – 12 people) Driving the business strategy and tactics for the product portfolio in a manner that maximizes the overall return / profit to the company Driving the development and market introduction of new, high technology separation products such as chromatography resins Ensuring that the product quality meets specifications and is maintained at the highest level of standard Ensuring that the manufacturing operations receive accurate short- and long term information about customer demand and market outlook so that manufacturing output matches the market demand Managing the finished goods inventory to secure on time deliveries while meeting internal inventory targets Meeting targets for base- and variable costs for the assigned cost center(s) Collaborating and communicating horizontally and vertically with stakeholders in own and other functions to stay informed and facilitate horizontal teamwork to enable efficient execution of business decisions. The role also includes, but is not limited to: Representing the business in internal, cross functional meetings Travel to customers and conferences (Note, the travel is global and may at times be extensive and with short notice.) Presenting to executive management Talent development of direct reports

Qualification/requirements: University qualifications within a relevant life sciences discipline (Master's or PhD) or equivalent knowledge/experience Previous experience of people management with an ability to lead and inspire teams and individuals Long working experience within the life science industry or similar, preferably in product management and / or marketing roles Experience from customer facing roles is considered a merit Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are required As the role is a “high exposure” role internally and externally, the candidate must have executive presence, business savvy and be comfortable presenting in presence of executive management Fluent in written and oral English
