Your tasks
Fraserview has an immediate opening for an accounting clerk who has a couple of years of accounting and administrative experience. The incumbent will work with the Controller and other staff to provide timely information to help move the business forward. Preference will be given to the individual with related industry experience who has worked in busy environment . As well the ideal candidate will have experience in Quick-books or a similar software. The incumbent should show a strong skillset in using excel in their daily work and be organized .
Main Duties
- Provide administrative support to controller, operations manager, and other senior staff on an ongoing basis.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Participate in Month End and Year End analysis, Account Reconciliation
- Bank Recs for multiply companies.
- WCB /GST filings
Requirements
Employment requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a College certificate or related work experience in Accounting/Business environment
- Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of property management and leases is a bonus.
- Accounting: 2 years (required)
