UA Operations Specialist

The UA Operations Specialist plans and executes unmanned aircraft missions across a multi-platform fleet, supporting a range of client and internal projects. The role combines hands-on flight operations with mission planning, regulatory compliance, and technical support. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute UA flight missions across various project requirements, ensuring operational safety and effectiveness. Conduct pre-flight risk assessments and inspections in accordance with CAAS regulations and Fly-it-Safe practices. Prepare and submit permit and authorisation applications required for operations. Operate UA and onboard sensors for aerial 3D mapping, photogrammetry, and façade inspection assignments. Support systems testing and flight testing of new and in-house developed platforms, payloads, and firmware. Process and deliver captured data for reporting purposes. Maintain accurate flight logs, operational records, and mission documentation. Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and troubleshooting to ensure fleet serviceability. Respond to in-flight emergencies and equipment malfunctions safely and effectively.
