Technology Operations Engineer

The TechOps Engineer is responsible for managing and supporting the Group’s infrastructure, both cloud and on-premises, across the Group. This is to ensure the availability, reliability and security of IT systems that support business operations and service delivery.
Job Description:
Infrastructure and Cloud Operations
- Provide Tier-2 technical support for system and network issues.
- Maintain the IT asset inventory, including servers, network devices, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Provision, manage and maintain systems both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Conduct system upgrades, patch management, and performance optimisation
- Conduct scheduled backup and restore exercises and ensure data integrity across all systems.
- Participate in BCP and DR exercises to validate recovery readiness.
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including FW, switches, routers, and AP.
- Design, configure, and maintain the Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and security groups.
- Perform network performance monitoring, bandwidth optimisation, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain system and network documentation.
Security and Compliance
- Work with the IT Security Team to implement security and configuration management across environments
- Support internal and external audits and ensure adherence to ISMS controls. Document and maintain network administration guides and SOPs
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of basic network protocols and security standards such as TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, VPN, DNS and DHCP.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong collaborative skills to work closely with varied partners or stakeholders.
- Strong team player and able to work well with end-users and partners.
- Ability to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, or systems engineering.
