Business Development Supervisor
- Searching for new business opportunities with either local or multinational clients, approaching the promising potential clients for mutual business cooperation and following up till finalizing an agreement.
- Increasing the business of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with stakeholders to discuss strategy.
- Along with the legal department, revising the toll/ private label manufacturing agreements.
- Along with the regulatory department, follows up the registration status of the products under the agreements.
- Prepare offers and negotiate the deals with clients till completion.
- Once a deal is agreed upon, the business development executive ensures sending the complete product file to all relevant departments and make sure all data are clear. Also, he/she starts creating critical path analysis to accurately monitor all project phases till delivering the product to the customer.
- Evaluate the needs of any open project and review resources. (i.e. if any machineries, manpower, lab instruments…etc. are needed to acquire the new business opportunity).
- Monitors the social media pages and recommend if our pages require any development to enhance our presence and publicity.
- Prepare any needed promotional materials that is needed to attract new business opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Science or biotechnology.
5–7 years of progressive experience within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.
Proven experience in toll manufacturing and managing third-party manufacturing operations is highly preferred.
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical and/or personal care sector is an advantage.
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a results-driven approach to achieving organizational objectives.
Very good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Highly organized, with strong decision-making, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
