Governance Senior Specialist

Job Summary The Governance Specialist will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of governance frameworks, processes, and structures within the function. The role will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective governance, clear accountability, appropriate decision-making, and alignment with organizational objectives. The role requires an adaptable individual who can effectively manage changing priorities and stakeholder expectations while maintaining strong governance standards and controls. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with business policies and governance standards.
• Monitor contracts, renewals, and key business obligations.
• Track payments and ensure they follow agreed timelines.
• Monitor processes, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare governance reports and follow up on key actions

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Telecommunications, IT, Law, or a related field.

2 years minimum relevant experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance, Internal Controls, or Business Operations, preferably within the Telecommunications or Technology industry .

Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and internal controls .

Experience in developing, reviewing, and maintaining governance policies, processes, and controls .

Knowledge of telecommunications regulations, industry standards, and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Experience in conducting governance assessments, compliance reviews, and risk assessments .

Ability to identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and compliance risks , and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Strong experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Operations, Finance, Legal, IT, and Compliance.

Excellent reporting, documentation, and presentation skills , with the ability to communicate findings to senior management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint .

Excellent English communication skills , both written and verbal.
