TMC: AWS Data Engineer

About this vacancy

As an AWS Data Engineer, you build the foundations for data-driven decision-making. You design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms, integrate multiple data sources, and ensure reliable and efficient data infrastructure across cloud environments, with a strong focus on AWS.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Integrating structured and unstructured data sources from various systems.
• Optimizing data storage and processing solutions, primarily in AWS cloud environments.
• Collaborating with Data Scientists, BI specialists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Ensuring data quality, security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Documenting data flows, architectures, and technical solutions.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of data engineering best practices and cloud-native solutions.

What we expect from you

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena, or related technologies.
• Experience with tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, Spark, Airflow, and dbt.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and streaming technologies.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure is considered a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Professional proficiency in French and English is mandatory.
