We are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our Albany location (5296 Florida Blvd). In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading a team of associates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, operational efficiency, and a commitment to driving business success while maintaining a supportive and collaborative work environment. Supervise and mentor store associates, providing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to support their professional development Assist in scheduling staff, managing time off requests, and ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and stock rotation Monitor sales performance and work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and business objectives Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner Manage cash handling procedures, process transactions, and ensure accuracy of financial records Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations Organize and conduct staff training sessions on products, services, and customer service standards Analyze operational metrics and provide recommendations for process improvements Support the Store Manager in implementing company initiatives and strategic programs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for both customers and employees

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills Customer service excellence and a customer-focused mindset Ability to analyze data and interpret operational metrics Cash handling experience and knowledge of financial procedures Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred: Experience in staff training and development programs Preferred: Knowledge of inventory management systems and practices Preferred: Sales expertise and track record of exceeding performance targets
