Guest Relations Parking Lead

JOB SUMMARY: Guest Relations Parking Leads are at the front line of the gameday experience. They are committed to creating Mile High Magic by fostering a fan-friendly environment that is both safe and fun. Our Leads play a vital role in supporting our Team Members and creating a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead
Assist Supervisor in conducting pre-event staff briefings for GR Parking Attendants
Assist Supervisor in overseeing a group of Team Members, including coaching them to be successful in their role and supporting them in resolving guest issues
Help coordinate staff breaks for all Team Members under your supervision
Work closely with Supervisor, Captain, Parking/Events management, and other stadium staff to resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
Proactively respond to negative fan behavior to ensure that guests can enjoy the event in a positive and safe environment
Flexibility in scheduling for parking lot set-up and striking of traffic devices
Offer insight on ways to improve efficiency of GRPS operation, this may include, but is not limited to: Staff briefings, vehicle entrance setup, staffing numbers for events, etc.
Act as a positive role model to staff and supervisors during all hours of shift
Monitor radio during events and offer suggestions to your peers to on how to handle conflicts that may arise
Parking Command and Lot Operations
Watch closed circuit videos to determine any intervention from parking team to address roadway, crosswalk and/or parking lot opportunities
Answer questions related to parking with stadium partners to ensure consistent and updated relevant parking information is conveyed to departments
Respond to radio and phone calls from Empower Field parking operations
Utilize a computer to input data and tracking
Utilize Parkhub technology to communicate parking lot availability to staff
Partner with other command center partners and collaborate on how to resolve any issue that may arise effecting the fan experience
Directing Traffic
Flag and direct vehicle traffic to available parking lots, parking spaces, and out of the parking lots following events
Assist and navigate pedestrians at crosswalks and intersections
Golf Cart
Occasionally drive a golf cart to count empty spaces in the parking lot and/or audit vehicles without proper credentials displayed
Other duties as assigned
Be flexible and ready to work other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
At least one (1) full season (April - March) worked in the GR Parking department or previous background in event parking
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail; ability to work with accuracy under pressure
Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude
Familiarity with computers and iPad, and Android technology
Ability to attend all training days, Denver Broncos Home Football games and all SMC Mandatory events
Ability to stand or sit for an extended period of time, walking (including stairs) and working outside in various weather conditions
Be able to work a shift that will range from 8-12 hours
Additionally, all applicants regardless of position must be 18 years of age or older and successfully pass a criminal background check
PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITY
Previous experience supervising and leading a team of employees
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly rate will be $24.00/hour.
