Junior Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

• Support the management and monitoring of cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Assist in maintaining reliable infrastructure to support application development and production environments.
• Support the implementation and management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Perform deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of Linux servers and application environments.
• Assist in managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitHub.
• Monitor system alerts, logs, and performance, and escalate incidents according to established SOPs.
• Assist with infrastructure optimization, system maintenance, and operational improvements.
• Maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and other technical teams to support smooth deployment and system operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum D3/S1 degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer.
• Basic to intermediate hands-on experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Good understanding of Linux server administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD, and Terraform.
• Basic scripting knowledge using Bash and/or Python.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Willing to work in a 24/7 shifting schedule when required.
